Agni kai: Traditionally fought at sunset. The firebenders begin back-to-back, barefoot. The goal is to overpower your opponent and knock him or her to the ground, and burn them. This is how PRINCE ZUKO got his scar.
Shipping: Comes from the word relationship, meaning couple pairings for different characters from the show, by combining their names. List of ships HERE
Fire Lord: The lead sage was knowen as the Fire lord because of his of his high level of firebending ability and his deep spiritual connection to fire. Throughout the years, the Fire lord severed ties with the sages and took over control of the Fire nation for himself. The current Fire Lord is ZUKO.
Fire Sages: They are the last of their kind- remnants of a bygone era in the Fire nation when greater importance was placed on spiritual matters. They live on the crescent island , and watch over Avatar ROKU’S sanctuary.
Airbending tattoos: To receive airbending an airbender must master airbending and make up his own airbending move. (AANG’S was the air scooter)
Avatar State: When the AVATAR is in physical or emotional distress the Avatar State takes over. The Avatar State is all the Avatar's past lives coming into the Avatar at one time, and giving him or her great power. Though the state can be very useful it's also very dangerus. If not master properly the Avatar will have to control over itm which could lead to total distruction. Also if the Avatar is killed during the Avatar State the Avatar cycle will stop, and the Avatar will cease to exsist.
Phoenix King: A name OZAI came up with, when he made himself ruler of the whole world.
Dragons in ‘The Earth King’: When Zuko had the dream about Azula and Iroh being dragons and that he was the Fire Lord the dragons were there to show the influence Azula (the blue dragon) and Iroh (The red dragon) have on Zuko (not only in the dream but in his life). In the dream Zuko was the Fire lord and Azula wanted him to “retire” Iroh told him not to listen to The Blue Dragon aka Azula, but in the end Zuko did what Azula wanted him to do.
Could this have been a clue to what Zuko decision would be in the finale? By choosing Azula instead of joining Iroh on the good side?
