APPA
Appa is Aang’s flying Bison. Flying bison, or Sky Bison, are native animals to the Air nomads, and, like Aang, he is the last of his kind. appa was born in the eastern air temple, where Aang chose him as his pet, friend and though he didn’t know it at the time, his spiritual guide. Even though Appa isn’t too hard to spot in the sky, he can fly, which helps Aang and the gang out when they need it. He’s also their way of traveling. He was recently stolen, only to be found in Ba Sing Se.
