Avatar Aang
Aang is a 12 (technally 112) year-old airbender. He was taken away from his parents when he was very young, and trained and raised by monks at the Southern Air Temple. When he turned 12 the monks told him that he was the Avatar.He later heard that his mentor, and friend was going to be seperated from him. Being angry ans confused Aang ranaway not knowing whatelse to do. He left during a storm, and was pulled under the water. When he hit the water the Avatar State tookover, and he froze himself in an ice burg near the Southern Water tribe. 100 years later Katara & Sokka found and recovered him from the Ice burg. It was Katara that told Aang of the war that had developed while he was frozen, and how the Avatar must save the world before the Fire Nation throws it into compleate distruction. From then one Aang has been traveling the world with Sokka & Katara trying to save the world and master all 4 elements. Along the way Aang found an earthbending teacher, Toph, and a bad turned good firebending master, Zuko.
